Biography of Maria

Maria has been dancing since the age of 5 studying various dance disciplines including tap, jazz, ballet and musical theatre. As a competitive dancer she has won numerous awards, scholarships and titles at dance competitions throughout North America. In addition to her competitive training she has also successfully completed examination in tap, jazz, and ballet with honours through the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA).

Maria is very excited to be part of the Dance Surge Team and hopes to instill her passion for dance and strong technical training on her students.
