AGE is not the only basis on which a student is allocated to a class. It depends on the student's technical and physical development.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES are offered to all children who show a natural aptitude for dance. Dance Surge admits students of any race, sex religion, sexual orientation, color, nationality, and ethnic origin.
EXPECTATIONS of our program are that it will nurture young talent, encourage a love of dance and foster an awareness of strategies for healthy living. The program is fun, progressive, and challenging, giving students the opportunity to study in a progressive setting, but not necessarily leading to a professional career. Normally students progress through levels. However, should a student fail to improve, the Studio reserves the right to change a student's class or suggest that it is not in the student's best interest to stay in the program.
EXCLUSION is only used as a last resort in response to a student's inappropriate behaviour or marked lack of progress.
EXTERNAL DANCE PERFORMANCES require prior permission from Dance Surge. The Studio's name must not be used in any program or posted without first obtaining permission. No competitive student may dance at, or represent another studio.
F

If you discover a fire, inform the nearest member of staff, who will sound the alarm and summon the fire service. Parents and friends are asked not to attempt to find children in the Studio but to leave the building immediately, through the nearest exist, to join the children and teachers opposite the rear doors. Fire drills will take place from time to time without prior notice.
FIRST AID is administered by qualified first aid staff. Contact any member of the staff to summon aid. If you have an accident on the premise Dance Surge will send you a written report and the Studio will keep a copy. (See MEDICAL EMERGENCIES)
